The Ri invites you to our 2024 autumn season, where we bring you exciting topics from science and culture. As the leading hub for groundbreaking advances in modern science, you don’t want to miss the exciting new programmes we have in store!

We bring you the opportunity to hear from some leading-edge scientists like Sir David Clary, a former chief scientific advisor to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, BBC Sky at Night’s Dame Margaret Aderin-Pocock, and NASA’s very own Mark Clampin. Reserve your seat in our Theatre or join us online as each of our autumn programme’s speakers add to the long list of famous scientists that have given talks in our iconic lecture theatre.

Whether you want to take a course on quantum theory, attend a special Ri Discourse on 3D printing’s use for organ repair, or join us to celebrate and honour Ada Lovelace, the world’s first published computer programmer, our autumn season has it all, and so much more. And don’t forget, Ri Members and Patrons get free or heavily discounted access to our events and activities.

There are also plenty of opportunities for families and young people, with Theatre talks and Family Fun Day exploring the fascinating animal kingdom through exciting experiments and demonstrations that allow you to get hands-on and learn directly from the researchers!
