First up is Lewis Dartnell on Thursday 22 May, following on from his talk on 8 May. He took us on a journey of rediscovery so we can all survive an apocalypse. Luckily, the world didn’t end that night (especially for those who have neither read the book nor came to his event), and the video of his event is now available for everyone online. This gives all you survivors the opportunity to cope should an asteroid hit the Earth. You now have your chance to watch this, storing up your questions for Lewis’ twitter chat on Thursday 22 May.

As well as filming many of our events for the Ri Channel, making our talks and debates available online for free, we are now running twitter chats with speakers to give everyone at home the chance to ask their questions.
Next up is Professor Jordan Ellenberg on Wednesday 4 June, who will be answering all your questions about the mathematics of everyday life. The maths we learn in school often seems like an abstract set of rules, not to be questioned. Jordan Ellenberg sees it quite differently, finding hidden mathematical structures in the world’s chaos.
